Conveniently located at the junction of Hwy South 17 and US Hwy 63 in West Plains, Missouri. Dr. Jessica Buenger and all of us at "the big red barn" are here to routinely serve your dogs, cats and pocket pets. We are accepting new clients daily, please call us for an appointment!

We also offer a full range of professional medical services, including diagnostic testing and imaging, surgical and dental services for dogs and cats of all ages.

What's Happening at the Clinic

We are excited to announce that effective January 3rd, the Animal Clinic will be under new ownership! After 30 years of serving our wonderful community, Dr. Ulmanis is passing the torch to Dr. Jessica Buenger.
​
Dr. Buenger has over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She and her family have relocated from Wyoming, and are excited to help the clinic grow and thrive in their new chosen community of West Plains.

Dr. Ulmanis wants to thank every one of you for your loyal support over the years. It has been an incredible journey, and we are so grateful for the memories and relationships we have built.

Dr. Ulmanis along with Dr. Cole will still be seeing appointments several days a week as we work to support the Buenger family during this transition! We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to your continued support.
